“La battaglia è sempre per lo stesso motivo... che si combatte...per l’amore. Quindi io credo, nelle mie canzoni, in qualsiasi canzone, di aver parlato sempre d’amore. Anche se ho parlato del cemento, del verde, così, in quel momento per me era una canzone d’amore." – Adriano Celentano "Patience is the key to success” – Tigger Da Author

"To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams." – Giorgio de Chirico

"It took me a while to figure out why I felt so different, and then one day as I was walking through the Jewish cemetery – I don't know why but it occured to me there – I realised that I had spent the last two weeks away from most of my habits. TV was in a language I didn't understand, there was nothing to buy, no advertisements anywhere. So all I've been doing was... walk around, think and write. My brain felt like it was at rest, free from the consuming frenzy. And I have to say it was almost like a natural high. I felt so peaceful inside. No strange urge to be somewhere else, to shop. Maybe it could have seem like boredom at first, but it quickly became very very soulful." – Céline, Before Sunset (Richard Linklater)

about

*for the best experience, listen in silence with proper headphones and without doing anything else*

"La musique - c'est la représentation sonore, simultanée, du sentiment de mouvement et du mouvement du sentiment."
– Roman avec cocaïne, M. Aguéev

After years of struggling with distorted believes about myself that were subtly and surely conditioning my mind, I finally got the courage to concentrate on unleashing my creativity and not give a fuck about many things. Like a shift of focus on what really matters to me.

This album to me marks the start of a new chapter in my life, influenced by big changes such as leaving the material comfort of the place I grew up to live as a nomad, discovering my homeland with no plans at my own pace, separation from family to embrace the unknown and just go with the flow.

One day at school when I was 17, the teacher asked us to imagine ourselves at 25 or something. She didn't really left us the time to think about it by ourselves. I just said pretty much what all the others said : a wife, a job, a 5k salary. I'm turning 29 – no children but two wonderful nieces, no wife but beautiful muses, no house but a few good friends all over the world, no salary but time.

All my music is available for free and will always be. If you like you can become a patron and support my work with a monthly pledge via patreon.com/gelivan or you can pay what you want from here.

Costals Geneva, Switzerland

Sounds like Future Gainsbourg. She said to him: « you’re a force tranquille ». Costals’ unique universe elegantly merges influences ranging from hip hop to trance via electronica and IDM. Bathed in cozy atmospheres that are like caresses to the ears, his simple and refined lyrics express an honest desire for lust, the playfulness of the eternal child, and sometimes a sprinkle of stoicism. ... more
